Kellly Villanueva and Brian Hill are saving the hair clippings that fall in their shops. The hair and fur clippings are used to make booms to contain the spills. According to www.matteroftrust.org, the clippings are put inside recycled nylon stockings and covered in mesh. They are then tied together and used to collect and contain oil. Support this wonderful cause by bringing your pet to Kelly's Pet Salon or getting a trim at Sportsman's Barbershop in Downtown Imlay City! |
