THURSDAYS
beginning May 13, 2010
and ending October 14, 2010.
The market will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
It will be held at the corner of Main Street & Third Street.
Come enjoy all that Imlay City can offer with fresh fruits and vegetables. Pick up delicious baked goods, farm fresh eggs, beautiful flowers and a great new decoration for your house. It is one stop shopping here at the Imlay City Farmers' Market!
Vendor packets can be downloaded on this page or picked up at City Hall.
Vendor rates are the following:
Seasonal: $85.00 lump sum

| | Mueller Farm | | | Mueller Farm has been serving the community for over 40 years. What started as a hobby farm is now a way of life. They raise grass fed, lean, hormone and chemical- free beef for sale by half or whole. Mueller Farm also offers chemical and pesticide- free vegetables in season. It is their pleasure to provide the community with healthy meat and vegetables.

Dawne will be bringing her beautiful plants to the Imlay City Farmers’ Market this year. She brings a wide variety of hanging baskets, annuals, herbs, and perennials. She will also bring fruits to the market such as strawberries, raspberries, cherries, peaches, rhubarb, apples, pears and blackberries. The Worden’s are not limited to just plants and veggies, they have been specializing in making natural lip balms, soaps, body scrubs, and moisturizers. Dawne believes the Imlay City Famers’ Market location is wonderful and that local quality products are very easy to access. Earth’s Legacy is located in North Branch, MI. Roberta McMillan and her husband produce honey within 30 miles of this area. She finds that this is very important to some people. Her husband has been interested in bees since he was thirteen, when his first bee was mailed to him from Sears, and the mailman talked to him for a half an hour about bees. Since this childhood infatuation grew, the McMillan’s have had hives off and on ever since. Robert likes coming to the Imlay City Farmers’ Market to meet new people and converse with vendors. She believes that people enjoy the fresh air at the market. The McMillan’s sell their honey in all different sizes including by the gallon.

Ken Penzien likes participating at the Imlay City Farmers’ Market because he wants to provide some of the healthiest plants and best tasting fruits and vegetables to their friends and neighbors. Some of the vegetables that Penzien farms will bring are beets, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, onions, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, and sweet corn, the Penzien’s also take pride in their striking flats of flowers, hanging baskets, and potted plants. The Penziens have lived in Imlay City for more than five generations so serving the local community is very important to them! | |
