Polly Ann Trail Walk 2012

Pet Walk 2012

Thank you generous Polly Ann Trail Walk sponsors and walkers!
On Saturday, June 16th, 56 people joined us for our Nature/Dog walk.  The walkers enjoyed the opportunity to get out and enjoy Mother Nature at her best and raise money for the completion of the Trailhead in Imlay City and future Polly Ann Trail improvements within Lapeer County.  Dr. Katie from Centofanti Chiropractic was at registration to provide massages and all natural bug spray for the walkers.

Walkers started at the Imlay City Farmers Market downtown and proceeded north on the trail.  Walkers were able to select how far they wanted to walk.  Some walkers went all the way to Lum and hopped on a shuttle provided by Milnes Chevrolet that picked them up and returned them back to the Farmers Market in Imlay City.  The Imlay Cite DDA would also like to thank the volunteers from Focus Studio, Steve, Jeffrey and Jason as well as community member Jim L. for assisting with registration the day of the event.

The Imlay City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Friends of the Polly Ann Trail would like to thank all the walkers and the generous support of the sponsors.  This year’s Gold sponsors were Talmer Bank & Trust, McLaren Lapeer Region, Milnes Chevrolet, Kelly’s Pet Salon, Imlay City Rotary, and Imlay City DDA.  Silver sponsors this year were Total Runner, Barbara L. Yockey Law Office, Clifton Clendenan, D.C., P.C., Tri-County Bank, Great Lakes Legal Team, Silver Grill Dining, and Diversified Electrical Contracting.  The generous support of these sponsors and walkers made it possible to raise over $2,300 toward the trail improvements.
